Roganic Reopens in Causeway Bay
A brand-new Roganic Hong Kong at Shop 402-403, Lee Garden One, 33 Hysan Avenue, Causeway Bay from 15th February, 2025.

Hong Kong food lovers, rejoice! Roganic—the Michelin-starred restaurant that’s also a pioneer in sustainability—is back with a fresh look, a new home in Lee Gardens, and the same passion for planet-friendly gastronomy. After five groundbreaking years in Causeway Bay, Chef Simon Rogan (MBE) is redefining luxury dining with a relaxed, eco-conscious twist.

A New Chapter for Hong Kong’s Green Dining Star

Since its debut as a London pop-up in 2011, Roganic has been synonymous with innovation. Now, the restaurant is entering an exciting new phase in Hong Kong, offering diners a more flexible and personalized experience.

Gone are the rigid tasting menus. Instead, Roganic introduces a dynamic set menu featuring a sharing-style main course section, allowing guests to curate their own dining journey. Whether you’re in the mood for a quick three-dish lunch or a relaxed five-course feast, the choice is entirely yours.

“This isn’t just a new menu—it’s a new way to connect with food,” says Chef Rogan. “We’re keeping our signature creativity but making sustainability deliciously approachable.”

Roganic - Hokkaido scallop, grilled Oscar peas, white asparagus, nasturtium, pea shell dashi
At both lunch and dinner, you are invited to choose from a selection of main courses, which have all been designed to be enjoyed by the entire table. If you like the look of something else on the menu, you can add any other dishes for a supplementary price. This new approach gives you greater flexibility and the chance to determine the length and flow of your meal.

Zero Waste, Full Flavor

The new menu at Roganic Hong Kong is founded on zero-waste principles, aiming to utilise every part of each ingredient. Chef Simon Rogan’s commitment to seasonal, and premium ingredients is evident, with a focus on sourcing from local, organic farms wherever possible. Chefs Adam and Mark foster strong relationships with regional producers through regular visits and educational sessions, ensuring a deep connection to the sourcing process.

For lunch, guests can enjoy a menu priced at $520, featuring two snacks, sharing dishes such as Hokkaido scallops with grilled peas and pea shell dashi or dry-aged Guangdong duck roasted in flower honey, followed by two seasonal desserts.

Typhoon-Chic, Sustainable Interiors

Collaborating with HKTimberbank, Roganic Hong Kong showcases upcycled wood from locally felled trees, salvaged from typhoons, urban development, or old age to prevent them from ending up in landfills. The reclaimed wood is featured throughout the restaurant, gracefully weaving a tale of resilience and renewal from the entrance panel to the iconic center tree-piece of the restaurant, as well as the tables and private VIP room, each piece carrying a unique history.

“Six years ago, Super Typhoon Mangkhut uprooted more than 60,000 trees in Hong Kong, sparking the creation of HKTimberbank. Our mission is to rescue trees from landfills and transform them into beautiful wooden furniture, art pieces, and construction materials. I’m delighted that Roganic shares these values and is giving our wood a second life,” says Ricci Wong, Founder of HKTimberbank. “I hope every guest at Roganic feels the connection to nature.”
